Biography
Neti Penstein is currently in the Shana Gimmel program at Yeshiva University’s Graduate Program for Advanced Talmudic Studies (GPATS) and teaches a Gemara course at Stern College for Women. She holds master’s degrees in Talmud and Jewish Law from GPATS and in Jewish Philosophy from the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies. After studying for a year at the Migdal Oz Beit Midrash for Women, Neti earned a BA in Philosophy from Princeton University. She was a member of Yeshiva University’s Sacks Scholars Graduate Fellowship and served as the Emerging Scholars Fellow at Maayan in Boston. This year, she is also serving as the community scholar-in-residence at Congregation Shaarei Tefillah in Dallas, Texas.
