Biography
Shira Donath, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist in private practice. She is also the rebbetzin and yoetzet halacha of Congregation Darchei Noam in Fair Lawn, NJ. Shira received her doctorate in psychology from Rutgers University’s Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology and her yoetzet halacha certification from Nishmat’s Miriam Glaubach Center’s US Yoatzot Halacha Program. Shira also holds a B.A. in psychology with a minor in business management from Stern College for Women, Yeshiva University. Shira has lectured on topics related to women’s health, mental health and halacha in communities across the USA. She has trained kallah teachers, rebbetzins, rabbis and other community professionals through Nishmat’s Kallah Teacher Training program and Rebbetzin’s Fellowship, Baltimore’s Neima Professionals Program and Yeshiva University’s RIETS. Shira is passionate about fostering wellness across the lifespan, utilizing various avenues for reaching the community.
