x Mrs. Elana Kaplan
Elana is a Museum Educator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Derfner Judaica Museum. She also created and leads an integrated learning and museum tour program for both adult and school groups. Elana presents virtual museum tours for groups around the globe. She received her BA in History from Barnard College and a Double Master’s Degree from NYU in Jewish History and Museum Studies. She lives in Teaneck, New Jersey with her husband and they are the proud parents of four children.

x Ayelet Lehmann
Mrs. Ayelet Lehmann is originally from Brooklyn, NY, where she began her teaching career at the very middle school she herself attended. In her ten years in the classroom, she has taught many grades and subjects, each with passion and love, creating a positive classroom environment for her students. Mrs. Lehmann has also been involved in many youth organizations, as well as communal institutions, and enjoys informal education and teaching in out-of-school settings. Professionally, she currently teaches in Torah Academy of Boca Raton’s Girls Middle School, as well as the Bais Yaakov of Boca Raton High School. Communally, she is involved in the Women’s Learning Programming in the Young Israel of Boca Raton and runs a post-seminary learning initiative through the Boca Raton Kollel, where husband is a Rosh Chaburah. She happily resides in Boca Raton, FL with her husband and children.

x Jodi StenderJodi Stender, CNM, MAJodi Stender has dedicated her career to women’s health, wellness, and empowerment. She began as a doula, guiding women through pregnancy to support both mental and physical well-being. After gaining experience as a birth and postpartum doula, she pursued her dream of becoming a midwife. She started her nursing career in maternity and high-risk pregnancy care, later working for several years in the NICU before completing her midwifery training.Currently, Jodi serves as a midwife at Shaare Tzedek Medical Center, providing holistic care to women in labor. Additionally, she is the co-founder of JR Side by Side, where she offers concierge midwifery services, supporting women during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Her services include a variety of prenatal education courses, as well as assistance for new immigrants navigating women’s healthcare in Israel. She and her partner also work with families experiencing stillbirth and trauma, providing compassionate support to foster the best possible outcomes in challenging birth experiences.Jodi empowers both English and Hebrew-speaking women across Israel, offering in-person and virtual support to help them understand and navigate their unique pregnancy and birth journeys.
