The COVID-19 shutdown has caused us to reinvent and reimagine organizational programming and connecting with our communities. Many programs have moved to Zoom, attempting to replicate the in-person experience over video conferencing software. This has resulted ‘Zoom fatigue’, where people have quickly tired of the exhausting video conference experience. This session will explore using technology as a disruptive innovation and instead of replicating in-person events, think of way to use technology to create new types of experiences and community connections. Discussion will be focus on best practices and different software options and effective ways of using them.
